Elizabeth's union with Pete, burdened by his struggles with drugs and infidelity, never dampened her spirit. Instead, she persevered, and through her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, her shattered marriage and fractured life found restoration and renewal, as the journey of healing unfolded.

Ephesians 4:31-32 Paul says

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.  Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
